“If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you:

I AM HERE TO LIVE OUT LOUD.”                                    Émile Zola

Is This You?

Have you always felt weird?

Do you find that you don't think like other people?

Have you been masking* most of your life?

Do you feel exhausted each day after being out in the world?

Do you find yourself copying others to fit in?

Have you ever wondered what is wrong with you? (Nothing BTW)

Do you look at other people's lives and wonder why you can't be normal like them?

Do you find yourself agreeing with people around you even though it feels wrong?

*faking your true self to fit in - acting in a "socially acceptable" way

Imagine another way...

  • Feeling like you're not the weird one? (It's them. Honest.)

  • Thinking and accepting how your brain works?

  • Being able to do what feels right to you, not what others expect of you.

  • The people around you, not just accepting who you really are but embracing who you really are.

  • You truly feel yourself. (Your thoughts, opinions, passions, excitement, loudness, quietness...)

  • You can be out in the world as you.

  • You're energised by the people around you.

  • You accept yourself and your brain as being perfect. For you.

  • You CAN have this...

The more time I spend around other people with ADHD, the less and less I think I need to be fixed.

(ADDitude reader)

From Round Peg Square Hole, Discover Your Extra Ordinary is the first step to working out what thoughts, behaviours and values are yours and what are expectations of society, family, friends.

It is free from waffle (mostly, I mean... ADHD) and to the point (cos who's got time?)

Who is it for?
Adults with ADHD who realised as adults so have spent most of life masking.

  • you're tired of faking it

  • you recognise you don't think like most people

  • you want to feel comfortable being yourself

  • you're ready to work out which parts of yourself have been inherited

  • you're ready to take the risk of being yourself

Forgetting to do the thing that helps me not to forget to do things is the thing that I forgot to do.

Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.              Einstein

Why Me?

I realised in my middle aged-ness (although I am actually 12) that I have ADHD. Everything made sense.  My whole life. I understood why.

Since then, I’ve learnt loads about ADHD in general, my ADHD and my brain. And now I rarely mask, especially when asked to specifically.

Having ADHD I have experience in so many areas, including:
Coaching, writing, NLP, training, animation, publishing to name a few.

I’ve always lived by “Oh shiny new thing to learn. Let’s learn that. No longer shiny. What’s next?”

As well as living with ADHD, I have worked with others and supported many neurodiverse people over the years.

Basically, I get it.

I struggle with focus, distraction, boredom, hyperfocus, loudness, quietness, masking, ear worms, out of sight out of mind, overwhelm and so much more.

But I wouldn't change my brain for anything.  Even though it can be exhausting it is so cool and mad and creative and amazing.

I have a switch in my head with two settings. One is “do everything immediately” one is “do nothing at all”.  I don’t control what the switch is set to. There is no third setting.

So what is the investment?

It's £47 and you get to keep it forever so you can revisit it periodically.

FAQs

  1. Do I need an ADHD diagnosis? No.

  2. How do I know if it's ADHD? We will be looking at how ADHD presents in the first module.  For most people it becomes obvious when you look at the traits -  you will recognise yourself. This isn't a diagnosis but if you have the traits then this is for you.

  3. How is it presented? It’s all online and you will have a link to downloadable PDFs with everything you need.

  4. Do I need to turn up to anything or do I complete in my own time? All in your own time. You will have access to everything at that point when you sign up. I will be available on email with any questions or feedback.

  5. How will this help me? It will help you start to see that you don't need fixing. It will help you work out which of your values are yours and which are the voices of family, friends, society.  It will give you tools to help you to embrace the real you and show up as yourself.

  6. Is there anything after this course? Yes. Embrace Your Extra Ordinary is a membership that will be launching early 2025, which will include a monthly magazine, online groups and support with being you. You will get a discount if you've completed Discover Your Extra Ordinary.

  7. How much is it after the Early Bird? It's £47

  8. What if I sign up and don't think I have ADHD? Even if you don't think you have ADHD, the content will be helpful anyway in helping you look at your values and how you show up in the world.
